Classic tic-tac-toe, the one you used to scribble on the back of a maths test. Three in a row wins, but against this bot it's harder than a doodled tic-tac-toe in class — it actually plays for real.

How to play Tic-Tac-Toe
- Pick your mode: against the computer, two players on the same device, or online with your group.
- 3×3 grid. Pick an empty cell: your symbol goes there.
- First player to line up 3 symbols — row, column, or diagonal — wins the game.
- Board full with no alignment: a draw, the most common outcome between two players who know what they're doing.
- On a rematch, the starting player switches automatically.
Frequently asked questions
- Can the bot be beaten?
- Yes, short of playing perfectly it's still beatable. A truly unbeatable bot exists in theory, but it would turn every game into a guaranteed draw — a lot less fun.
- Does tic-tac-toe usually end in a draw?
- Yes, that's the nature of the game: between two attentive players, nobody should ever win. It's the opponent's mistake that makes the difference.
- X or O, who goes first?
- Configurable at launch, then flipped on every rematch, so the same symbol never keeps the advantage for the whole game.
