Higher/Lower
Guess if the next one is higher or lower: against the computer, two players on this device, or online with your group.
Higher or Lower turns useless-but-fascinating facts into a confidence duel: is the Nile longer than the Amazon, does Venus really have an absurdly long day? You say higher or lower, then the numbers judge in silence.

How to play Higher or Lower
- Pick your mode and set the match to best of 3, 5, or 7 rounds.
- A fact category appears with a first item and its value.
- For each next item, both players independently guess whether its value is higher or lower.
- A correct answer extends your streak; a wrong one ends it for the round. Once both streaks are over, the longest one wins the round.
- Categories do not repeat until all have been used, then the first player to reach a majority wins the match.
Frequently asked questions
- What subjects are used in Higher or Lower?
- Six categories of ten stable facts: landmarks, rivers, animal speeds, mountain heights, day lengths on celestial bodies, and country areas. Sixty chances to learn that Venus is being a little excessive.
- Do both players get the same questions?
- Yes. Each round uses the same category and shuffled sequence for both players: the duel is about your instincts, not a lucky draw.
- What happens if both streaks are equal?
- The round is a draw and nobody scores. You will need another way to prove who watches more documentaries.
