A dice roll without dice: pick the type, pick how many, and roll. From the board-game D6 to the tabletop D20, for when the box stayed in the cupboard and the real D20 rolled under the fridge three flats ago.
- What you need
- Nothing, it all happens on screen
How to use the dice roller
- Pick the die type: D4, D6, D8, D10, D12 or D20.
- Pick how many you're rolling, from 1 to 5.
- Tap “Roll the dice”: they bounce, then settle on their result.
- The D6 shows the classic pips; the other sizes show their value as a number.
- The total appears under the dice as soon as you roll more than one.
Frequently asked questions
- Which dice are available?
- The six of the classic set, board games and tabletop RPGs alike: D4, D6, D8, D10, D12 and D20. None of them are ending up under the couch.
- Is the roll really random?
- Every face has the same chance on every roll, and no roll depends on the one before it — exactly like a physical die, minus the part where it rolls under the table.
- Can I roll more than five dice?
- No, five at most. Beyond that the dice get too small to read on a phone sitting in the middle of the table — nobody's squinting at this hour.
