How to play Kings Cup
- Pick the version for the whole round: alcohol or alcohol-free.
- Each player flips a card on their turn and follows the rule for that rank.
- 13 ranks, each with its own rule — from the Ace that syncs everyone up to the Jack who invents a rule that sticks for the rest of the game.
- The King is special: the first three pour into the shared cup, the fourth has to drink it — or take the alcohol-free dare instead.
- The game ends on the fourth King drawn.
Frequently asked questions
- How long does a game last?
- Pure luck: the game ends on the fourth King drawn, which can turn up early or late in the deck.
- Is there an alcohol-free version?
- Yes, every rule has a neutral equivalent — a gesture or a dare instead of a sip. Pick the version at launch, it applies to the whole round.
- What does the King card actually do?
- The first three Kings drawn pour a sip into the shared cup; the fourth names who drinks it — and ends the game right after.
